There is nothing else. When we are with her, we don’t need to eat, we don’t need to sleep and we don’t need to breathe because nothing else matters. And then, even if we don’t lose our passion, but we lose our ability to put our passion into action, it all catches up to us…
I can’t count the number of times someone has come to a cooking class and become appalled that a nutrition therapist, who advertises the class as healthy, eagerly promotes high fat foods. They, like so many, equate consuming fats with becoming fat.
Six years ago, my son was diagnosed with autism, and for my family, the initial experience of his diagnosis through us all off balance. It has been essential to not only focus on his healing, but on our healing, together as a family.
