We are always being told to not judge a book by its cover… to avoid being judgmental. But that is BAD advice when it comes to health. We MUST be judgmental. In this video, I share three examples, two that are very pertinent to the gluten intolerant community and one that is relevant to everyone.
Please share how you have found being judgmental beneficial to your health!
When I had cholesterol issues I read every label looking for saturated fat content. It really changed what I was allowed to eat. Definitely look at the fine details of ingredients when it comes to your health.

It is so beneficial to become aware of what is in the food we eat so way to become a label reader! That said, I have to admit that I am a saturated fat fan, but I do suggest everyone scans the labels to avoid partially hydrogenated oils/transfats which I find to be more of a risk for heart disease than high cholesterol–that and sugars and veggie oils. I really should write an article about the dangers of oxidized fats and how at least saturated fats resist rancidity. Thanks so much for sharing and commenting David with what works for you–always appreciated.
